As you update or add new content to a website, the new material is not protected by a prior
copyright registration of that website.
Copyright registration covers only the material submitted at the time of registration. If you update or change your site you would need to register the new material in order to protect the new content. However, minor editing is probably not significant.
Many copyright owners will periodically register new content from time to time. Whether it’s every
three month, six months, annually or some longer duration, keep in mind that the legal protection of your copyright registration only extends to what was submitted at the time of registration.
